www.preventharm.orgDocumentary Screening: Two Angry Moms at Meg Perry Center 644 Congress Street, Portland, Thursday, July 30th, 6:30 p.m.
The Environmental Health Strategy Center is organizing a movie night series with films that touch upon various aspects of chemicals and synthetic additives that affect the health and well-being of ourselves, our children and our communities.
The first film in the series is Two Angry Moms. In the face of a national child health crisis, Two Angry Moms addresses an issue of great concern to us all. What are our children eating in school, how is it impacting their learning, their behavior and their health? Filmmaker Amy Kalafa follows several awe-inspiring leaders in the fledgling better school food movement. Along the way she finds solutions that are working in school systems across the country.
